Internal Sales Account Manager - Berkshire based - EXCELLENT COMPANY

Overview:

Internal account management, developing business and building lasting customer relationships within allocated set of House Accounts. To develop new business prospects and incremental business in managed accounts and proactively sell the vendor .

Respond to quote and order requests in a timely manner in accordance with Service Level Agreements and ensure customer satisfaction on quotes and orders. Meet sales objectives and other objectives as set by Sales Manager.

Key duties will include:


� Responsible for the sales and marketing in allocated accounts set
� Management of relationships at all levels within allocated account set
� Recruit new Business Partners to the company and vendors within own allocated accounts
� Meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets in allocated accounts maximising margins on orders
� Preparation of quotes for own accounts and for Field Sales Account Managers liaising with Technical resource as required
� Dispatching orders in system
� Liaising with customers on deliveries
� Communicating order status to customers and Account Managers as appropriate
� Ensures service level agreements are adhered to
� Provide accurate pipeline and forecast reports
� Liaise with finance regarding credit limits for allocated accounts
� Proactively managing customer issues and resolving credit issues escalating as appropriate
� Supporting Business Development Manager and marketing activities within allocated accounts
� Building relationships with vendor product and sales teams
� Keeps up to date with market conditions
� Maintains level of accreditations as demanded by the vendors or business


Essential Requirements:

Proven track record in Internal sales, including developing customer relationships and management of accounts sales including use of sales forecasting and opportunity management systems.
Outgoing personality
Product knowledge
Vendor Sales Accreditation (ideally)
Ability to work effectively unsupervised

Desirable Requirements:

Experience of selling IT Hardware or Software Solutions
Knowledge of Microsoft with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
