Job Description:

Training Designer
£28-30k (Pro Rata)
FTC till Jan 2018

As a Training Designer you’ll develop the organisations capability by designing and delivering a suite of creative learning interventions and programmes for employees at all levels that meets the organisation’s needs.

Conduct Training Needs Analysis through collaboration with HR colleagues and stakeholders, and make recommendations for the most appropriate solutions
Design and deliver creative interventions that meet various needs and are based on learning theories using a blend of delivery mechanisms
Where appropriate assist in identifying external training providers, managing the relationships and monitoring delivery against pre-determined criteria
Ensure robust evaluation methods are in place to measure the impact of learning and development programmes/events. Collate, analyse and report on benefits achieved
Manage multiple design projects using effective project management processes to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
Coach and develop the training team to be able to deliver/facilitate internally designed learning interventions
Participate in organisation/HR change projects, providing learning and development expertise and designing and delivering solutions that support the project objectives
Scan the external environment to identify trends and opportunities to enhance the Learning & Development offering.
Make recommendations to ensure training is competitive and supports our the companies brand

Experience of working in a retail multi-site organisation would be beneficial
Previous Learning & Development experience, including design and delivery
An understanding of learning theories, concepts and principles
Excellent coaching and influencing skills
Stakeholder management
Relevant qualification (or studying)
Involvement in organisation wide change projects
