Cisco Network Team Leader / 3rd Line Support Engineer urgently required by Middlesex / Hammersmith / London based client. I am looking for someone who has experience supporting large Networks of large Cisco kit. Ideally you will have experience of leading teams (although this isn't essential as the tech skills are more important). Tech skills inc; BGP routing, Switching, Firewalls / Security, Gigabit Ethernet, multicast, content networking (inc ACE, IPS & ASA Modules) and IPSec VPN's with Cisco and Nortel hardware, Design and support of all network environments, updating processes and deployment, assisting other Engineers in the building of LAN / WAN infrastructure.Cisco Routing / Switching, CCNP accreditation (or equivalent experience), exposure to modular switches (e.g. 650x series), experience of building resilient TCP/IP networks incl: Firewall & VPN Technologies, Gigabit Networking, Performance / Fault Monitoring, Cisco ACE Load Balancers. The successful Network Engineer will have approximately 5 to 7 years experience in supporting high performance, enterprise class network infrastructures. You will have a good working knowledge of Cisco IOS and Hardware (including 6500s), TCP/IP Routing (OSPF, EIGRP & BGP), VRFlite, LAN/WAN technologies, TACACS+, Radius, Syslog, Firewalls and Content Delivery.
