Job Description:

Manager / Director, Professional Services - Banking Software.

Overall:

To direct and to lead the respective Professional Services function(s) within EMEA; to contribute to the leadership and direction across the Delivery and Support functions globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures that the primary objectives of the Professional Services group are met as detailed in their respective charters, MBOs and other documents as may be produced from time to time.

Ensures that the established Professional Services processes and procedures are followed and KPIs are achieved.

Communicates with frequency and accuracy to the respective Professional Services Managers, providing general progress information, recommendations for change, and detailed analysis of any issues or matters that could likely result in a material impact to the company or revenue/expense budgets.

Manages the budget for the respective Professional Services team.

Responsible for the consistent delivery of agreed services to both internal and external clients within Service Level Agreements.

Responsible for the success and direction of each project delivered for the respective Professional Services team.

Utilizes PMO to carry out tactical project objectives.

Translates Professional Services objectives and initiatives into tangible, executable plans for staff.

Responsible along with other Professional Services managers for the continual improvement of procedures, processes, and overall infrastructure within the respective Professional Services teams with a focus on improving quality, increasing efficiency, reducingrisk, delivering stability, and accommodating scalability.

Defines and publishes information on a regular basis to update the company concerning status, progress, roles and responsibilities, available positions, staffing changes, policies, procedures, and any other pertinent developments or topics.

Leads pre-sales efforts including but not limited to Statement of Work (SOW) development and negotiation, Work Breakdown Structures (Project Estimates), scoping engagements, Professional Services presentations, etc.

Serves as first escalation point for all respective Professional Services projects.

Primary Skills & Attributes:

Exhibits strong leadership skills
Capable of assessing risk associated with revenue and projects and accurately reporting such risk upward as required.
Demonstrates strong P&L management capabilities including revenue and expense forecasting and control
Possesses expert communication skills in both verbal and written form including a solid grasp of diplomacy and how to utilize communication style, temperament, tone, etc. to work with others
Capable of embracing opportunities that are less than fully defined and detailed, exhibiting the ability to bring tangibility to ambiguous situations


Qualifications

10+ years of experience in people management
10+ years of experience in financial services or software services delivery within the EMEA market with specific focus on similar products or market niches
5+ years of project management experience
5+ years of consulting experience
Multi-lingual a plus (English, Spanish, French and/or Russian in particular)
Available to travel worldwide up to 50%
North American business experience a plus
Process management/improvement a plus
